Our food pantry serves hundreds of families in Putnam County on one Tuesday afternoon each month. In partnership with Second Harvest, our team of dedicated volunteers works to make sure those in our community who are food insecure have their basic needs met. Hope Academy is a weekly ministry for intellectually disabled young adults that provides a loving, safe environment where they can find fellowship and enrichment through an activity based program. 

Cookeville First is pleased to be a big part of the disaster relief efforts of the Tennessee Western Kentucky Conference of the UMC. Our disaster relief team travels to help those who have been victims of natural disasters. We repair homes and churches and provide for the needs of those who have been impacted.  To be a part of this team, watch for training opportunities throughout the year.

Throughout the year, Cookeville First is involved in many special service opportunities. From building homes for Red Bird Mission in Eastern Kentucky to Cooking on the Square for Habitat for Humanity to teacher appreciation at Jere Whitson Elementary to Rental/Utility assistance for our neighbors in need, there is always a way for you to be involved in sharing the story of grace with us.   Contact us at: servant@cookevillefumc.org
