We’re taking our Youth on a beach retreat to Epworth by the Sea at St. Simon’s Island! Our theme for the week is “Together by the Sea,” and the devotions will center around the importance of a Christ-centered community and being together.
ITINERARY
JULY 25th
6:00am – Students arrive at church to load vans
6:30am – Departure!
11:00am – Lunch at the Varsity Midtown in Atlanta, GA
6:00pm – Arrival at Epworth by The Sea, unload luggage
6:30pm – Dinner at Epworth by The Sea, rundown of the rules for the week
7:30pm – Mini Devotion
8:00pm – Free evening (i.e. pool time, showers, unpack, etc.)
10:30pm – Lights out!
JULY 26th
8:00am – Breakfast
9:00am – Music and Devotion
9:45am – Small groups
10:30am – Free time
12:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm – Ropes Course
4:00pm – Free time
5:30pm – Dinner
6:30pm – Music and Devotion
7:15pm – Small groups
8:00pm – Fire pit and s’mores, free time
10:30pm – Lights out!
JULY 27th
8:00am – Breakfast
9:00am – Music and Devotion
9:45am – Small groups
10:30am – Pack things for afternoon at the Cumberland Island National Seashore!
12:00pm – Lunch at the beach!
1:00pm – Free beach time
5:30pm – Dinner back at Epworth
6:30pm – Music and Devotion
7:15pm – Small groups
8:00pm – Free time, pack up
10:30pm – Lights out!
JULY 28th
8:00am – Breakfast
9:00am – Mini Devotion
10:00am – Pack up the buses
10:30am – Depart for Cookeville!
9:00pm – Approx. arrival at FUMC
