All Wednesday Night Activities have been canceled for this evening due to the possibility of inclement weather.

According to our Inclement weather policy, if schools are closed during the course of the school day resulting in early dismissal of students, there will be no Wednesday Night Activities.

The primary concern for the cancellation of activities is safety. Wehope to make the best decision for the safety and welfare of those who participate in the ministries of the church

It's time to place orders for Easter Lilies to decorate the sanctuary for Easter Sunday, April 16. Order forms are located on the website, in the church office, in the Narthex, and in Wesley Chapel. Cost is $11. All orders have to be in the church office before noon on Monday, April 3.

Unable to make it in to Sunday worship service? Our 10:55 Sanctuary service is broadcast live each Sunday from News Talk FM 94.1, and uploaded to later in the week.

As the new year starts, FUMC is reaffirming our commitment to being good and careful stewards of the resources and talents we have as a faith community. One of our goals this year is to be more efficient and effective in our communications. But in order to succeed, we need your help.

There are three important things you can do:

  •  FUMC Newsletter - Choose to receive our bi-weekly newsletter by email. Doing so will save on paper, printing and postage, plus staff and volunteer time.  It also allows you to receive important information several days earlier, and provides you with higher quality photos and graphics… in color!

  •  Automatic Draft - Consider setting up an automatic draft for your contributions. There’s no additional cost to you or the church, it’s quick and easy to set up and your information is secure. Plus it provides us with consistent giving and a better ability to plan and budget. This summer, don’t worry about finding your checkbook or forgetting your tithe while you’re away.

We’ve made it easy for you to implement one or all of the above suggestions. Just click here and make your choices.  If you’d rather, you can also simply call the church office and we’ll take it from there.

For those already participating in one or more of these ideas, we thank you!  For those new to these suggestions, we encourage you to consider taking this positive step. And if you have questions, please ask! Contact the church office at 931-526-2177.

Reserve your spot for Wednesday Night Dinner. $5 per person or $20 per family.

Reservations can also be made with Patricia in the church office at 931-526-2177.

Weekday activities (generally) follow the public school schedule; if they are closed, church activities will be canceled (unless otherwise specified on Facebook, Website, or answering service).

Our website (, social media (Facebook page), and answering service will be programmed to give you the updated information. In addition, the staff of the church will communicate with their respective groups and classes via email, text, social media, or phone. Please check your communication devices for the latest update and information.
